Ramadan moon sighting committee to sit on Monday

A meeting of National Moon Sighting Committee will be held at the Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukkaram conference room at 7.30 pm tomorrow (Monday).
The meeting will review the news of moon sighting for the holy month of Ramadan of 1437 Hijri and take decision in this regard, BSS reports.
Religious Affairs Minister and Chairman of the committee Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting.
People have been requested to inform about moon sighting through telephone and fax numbers of the Islamic Foundation if they can see the moon from anywhere across the country.
The telephone numbers are: 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337 and the fax numberse-9563397 and 9555951.
